JO& THE KNOX
Sloane Square Hotel | London
Designing The Knox London was one of those rare projects where we got to build a little world from the ground up—a space that feels like a secret, shared only with those lucky enough to stumble upon it. We took inspiration from the Mutiny Rooms in late ‘70s Miami, a club that was hidden, glamorous, and just the right amount of mischievous. That mood runs through every detail: from the deep red velvet booths and vintage telephones to the twinkle of glittering jumpsuits behind the bar. It wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about creating a feeling. A little bit disco, a little bit debaucherous, and totally transportive. The Knox was always meant to feel like a tucked-away treasure, pulsing with vinyl beats, candlelight, and the kind of energy that only really happens underground.
